Are Real Madrid a football club or a money making bissness?
It seems to me that Real Madrid care less about playing good football, and more about big names that can increase shirt sales….are they destroying football with their ridiculous spending, by making it more about primadonnas than the beautiful game ?

Well, with the amount of money they’re splashing out, it certainly isn’t business – more like desperation!
who think FC barcelona will be champs again and your top 5 FC Barcelona players?
I think FC barcelona will be champs again and my top 5 players
1.Lionel Messi
2.Thierry Henry
3.Victor Valdes
4.Xavi
5.Eric Abidal
well, it all depends on how well real madrid can get along (i.e. team chemistry). if ronaldo doesn’t complain about not getting the ball and benzema doesn’t complain about being over-shadowed then i think they will do great. but the thing is, i don’t feel that’s going to happen. not many pro teams have done well with this many great players on the same squad. FC Barca will win it again.

My Top 5:
1. Messi
2. Puyol
3. Iniesta
4. Henry
5. Alves
Which soccer player has the most scoring titles in the Spanish Primera Liga?
His Mexican and played for UNAM Pumas before leaving to Spain. He later coached Pumas and got two championships. In Spain he played for Real Madrid.
It is of course Hugo Sánchez Márquez!
After five successful seasons in Mexico, with 99 goals to his name, Sanchez drew the attention of several Spanish sides, and signed with Atletico de Madrid in 1981. It took him a while to find his feet in La Liga, but by the 1984-85 season he was scoring regularly with a team that won the Copa del Rey, finished in second place in the Spanish League and won the Spanish Super Copa. That year Hugo also won his first Pichichi trophy for being the most prolific scorer in the league.
At this point, he reached the high-point of his career, signing for Real Madrid in 1985 and playing with players such as Camacho, Butragueño, Gordillo, Valdano and Míchel ( La quinta del Buitre). This team won five consecutive league titles (from 1985-86 to 1989-90), the Copa del Rey in 1989, and the UEFA Cup in 1986. During these five years, Sánchez garnered four consecutive Pichichi trophies, scoring 207 goals in 283 games.

Sanchez scored 38 goals in the 1989-90, tying the record of the great Zarra and giving him a European Golden Boot for best scorer in Europe. Overall, he scored 23 goals in 45 European Cup games.
His trademark was to perform a celebratory somersault after each goal he scored, honouring his sister, who was a gymnast and participated in the Montreal Olympics.
After this fantastically successful period, Sanchez returned to his native Mexico for a season, before playing for a variety of clubs in Spain, Austria and the USA (he played for the Dallas Burn in the inaugural year of Major League Soccer). He finished his career playing for Atlético Celaya with his old colleagues from Real Madrid, Butragueño and Míchel.
Sanchez was the only Mexican to feature in Pele’s 125 Top Living Football Players List in March 2004.
Why are Liverpool 3rd in the champions league despite scoring 14 goals?
I checked the Group A Champions League 07/08.
Liverpool have scored 14 and let-go 5. Means their Goal Diffrence is 9.
Marseille on the other hand, have scored 6 and let-go 5. Which makes their Goal Diffrence only 1.
Both teams have 7 points, but why are Liverpool Still 3rd not 2nd?
Check out Liverpool’s results:
Porto1-1Liverpool
Liverpool0-1Marseille
Besiktas2-1Liverpool
Liverpool8-1Besiktas
Liverpool4-1Porto
So, that’s 14 goals scored and 5 conceded.2 wins,2 losses and a draw.
Can the liverpool chairmen only blame themselfs for benitez about to walk away to real madrid?
I think its almost certain now that Benitez will be the flavour of the year at real madrid next season.
You have to say though, Benitez nearly got the sack not that long ago at liverpool and they played him for a mugg.
Who are the muggs now?
Do you think liverpool can keep keep up without the crazy manager on the sidelines willing them on?
ya of course. liverpool yuks suks!
How do I buy tickets for an FC Barcelona game?
I live in Texas and I want tickets for a game in Barcelona in January.
i want to see a game in barcelona in january 2008
i’m from texas too, and when i went in march for the Classico i walked up to the stadium….i tried Ticketmaster and it didnt work….i thought you meant a match in spain….are they coming here?
Is this season the closest ever Primera Liga championship to the finish?
Real proved the critics wrong by snatching the Liga title from Barca with thrilling finale…
To be frank, this season’s finale is really thrilling and nail-biting too. Though I am a FC Barcelona fan, I congrat Real Madrid for winning the La Liga, but that doesn’t mean there will be a repeat next season as the Catalan giants would want to show what they are made up of.
As Capello maybe leaving the ex-galaticos, the world is still pondering who will be the next manager in the wake of the La Liga title win?
Cheers
